85850-3300(1)-89150 (17 years).


Presently, the gross emolument including SEBI’s Contribution towards National Pension Scheme (NPS),
Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance, Learning
Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, etc. at Mumbai at the minimum of this scale is approx. ₹1,49,500/- p.m.
without accommodation and ₹1,11,000/- p.m. with accommodation.

Other benefits viz., Leave Fare Concession, Medical Expenses, Eye Refraction, Education Allowance,
Financial Dailies, Book Grant, Briefcase, Conveyance Expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, Staff Furnishing
Scheme, Scheme for Purchasing Computers, Subsidized Lunch Facility and all other benefits as admissible
to an Officer in Grade A in SEBI.


Accommodation & Posting: Residential accommodation would be provided subject to availability. The
incumbent may be posted and transferred to any location in India where SEBI has its Offices. The recruited
officers may be posted to any department of SEBI, irrespective of stream.

Note: 

There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks allotted to each question. 

The paper will be available in both English and Hindi except for the test of English in Paper 1.

Phase 2 Exam Pattern 

Candidates shortlisted from Phase 1 will move on to Phase 2 exam. SEBI Grade A Phase 2 for the IT stream will consist of two papers carrying 100 marks each. Paper 1 will be Descriptive English which will be common for all the streams. Paper 2 will be a Coding Test. The SEBI Grade A IT Officer Phase 2 exam pattern has been given in the table below.

SEBI Grade A IT Officer Interview 

All the candidates who will clear SEBI Grade A Phase 2 will be called for the last and final stage i.e Interview. You have the option to choose either Hindi or English as your language medium for the Interview. The weightage of marks obtained in the SEBI Officer Grade A Phase 2 exam and Interview is 85:15.
